“ La Cabra is a gem when it comes to both drinks and pastries! From the moment you step in, the quality shines through. I've had the chance to try nearly every pastry on the menu, and honestly, you can't go wrong with whatever catches your eye. Some standouts for me are the cardamom buns and any of their croissants. As for drinks, their chai latte is a personal favorite. It's reliably delicious every time and the perfect balance of spice and creaminess. I've also been to their East Village location, and the quality of food and drinks is just as amazing and consistent there. The only downside is how insanely popular La Cabra is--it's almost always crowded and can be a bit tricky to find a seat. But it's definitely worth the wait for top-tier coffee and pastries. ”
“ Yum! Amazing coffee and baked goods. Avoid winter weekends, people in NYC go nuts for coffee when it's cold outside. The place gets insanely busy. Will keep coming here for coffee! ”
“ Had the cardamom latte hot - highly recommend! and iced latte with oat milk. It's super busy cafe with good ambiance so might not get a seat. They have bakery items too! Multiple locations. ”
“ The coffee tastes great and they have real baristas who know their s$&*. Also their croissants are legit. You can tell that they are made with quality butter and flour. I wish I could live near La Cabra so I can have my breakfast and coffee there every morning. To boot, everyone is friendly, no attitude here! ”
“ Much like everyone else is saying, the cardamom bun is perfection. On a Saturday afternoon the line was pretty long but goes by so quick. The interior is so beautiful and sleek, I just love this place ”
“ 1000/10! The cardamom bun here is so fire and everyone knows it. I came on a weekday for a little breakfast pastry and the place was packed. Not yet a line outside, but we waited ~15 min for our order. There were also no tables for us to sit, we managed to snag a counter to stand at. The cardamom bun is so good. Warm, sweet, sticky, and so fragrant. I had it with their matcha latte which worked so nicely together since the matcha is unsweetened. The drink itself was pretty good, not the best matcha, but still delicious and strong. The vibe of this place is cute too, can definitely get chaotic when it's busy since the space is so small, but would still definitely recommend! ”
“ Stopped by around 10 AM on a Tuesday. There was a line out the door. Took about 15-20 mins to order. Took another 5-10 mins for the drinks to come out. It was also packed inside. Seating is very limited. Ordered the matcha latte and the ham&cheese croissant. Matcha was a good color. Both were good, but frankly not that special. Not sure if I would be dying to come back, but it was overall a decent experience. I probably wouldn't want to wait 30+ minutes for this. ”
